| 12.30pm-1.00pm OMISONA FASINA "Why Anger Hurts You More Than The One You're Angry With" | How your anger hurts you more than the person your'e angry with! When you think of the impact of anger it is usually the external results that are considered. Anger is a negative emotion along with; irritation, sadness,low moods and worry, they all stem from fear or pain. Either way they leave your body in a weakened state that is not immediately noticeable, yet, can have longterm impact on your mind, body and soul. We will be exploring this and some helpful strategies in more detail. |
| 1.15pm-1.45pm SHARON PICK 'CEASE Therapy' | CEASE therapy and working with Autism. Sharon Pick will be giving a talk on how CEASE therapy can be used in the treatment of Autism. CEASE Therapy, which stands for Complete Elimination of Autistic Spectrum Expression is a form of homeopathy in which, step by step, all factors (vaccines, regular medication, environmental toxic exposures, effects of illness, etc.) are detoxified with the homeopathically prepared substances that are believed to have caused or exacerbated the autism. The technique can also be used by those suffering from chronic illnesses or to help those struggling with the side effects of their medication. Sharon works in several clinics in the Solihull and Birmingham area. In addition to her private practice Sharon also works with the charity BirmAH and writes articles for Raring 2 Go magazine. |
| 2pm - 4pm 4 x 30 minute Sahaja Meditations with PETER BURNS | Half hour sessions at 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm taking place in the Talks Room. The session will include a guided meditation session. It will be led by Peter Burns, who has enjoyed practicing this meditation since 1982. There will be an introduction to our Subtle System of seven main Chakras (wheels of subtle energy within the body), of our three Nadis (energy channels) and our nurturing Divine Mother power (Kundalini). The Guided meditation will enable our nurturing Kundalini power to be gently and safely awakened and for us to discover the beautiful experience of Thoughtless Awareness (mental stillness). This initial awakening (termed Self Realisation) will enable anyone who desires it to repeat this experience at will and thereby to build into their lives a greater sense of peace and of inner balance. Instructional Leaflets on how we may continue to practice this invaluable and transformative technique (Sahaja Yoga Meditation) at home every day will be available afterwards. |
